Shipping and Returns
Free shipping within the continental US and Canada

Shipping Cost
Shipping is free within the continental United States and Canada. For anywhere else, please contact me before purchasing or making a commission deposit. I cannot ship all sizes of our paintings to all places. I have shipped successfully to countries all over the world, but each case is unique.
A shipping charge of $35 applies to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and APO/FPO addresses—but again, contact me first before you make a purchase to be certain I can ship to you.
Shipping Time
I usually ship in-stock artwork within two business days. Commissioned works are usually shipped within 3 weeks (and often well before that). I will send you a tracking number and an estimated delivery date within 24 hours after your artwork is shipped.
International Shipping
I cannot ship all sizes of our paintings to all places. If you live somewhere other than the continental United States or Canada, please contact me before you purchase your painting. Be aware that you will be responsible for any customs fees, duties, import fees, tariffs, import taxes, and such-like. I do not know what these fees are, so please consult your customs agency before your purchase. I will happily mark your package “Original Art Purchased Directly from the Artist,” which may help with customs fees in some countries. I will not mark your package “Gift” to avoid customs fees, as that is illegal.
Signature Upon Delivery, Shipment Damage, and Lost Shipments
I do not require a signature upon delivery unless you contact me before I ship to ask for a signature-required delivery. If you do not ask for a signature upon delivery, I will not be responsible for shipments that are lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged in transit. Nor can I be responsible for your package after it has been delivered.
Be aware that if someone other than you signs for and accepts the package, you must still abide by my normal return policy.
If you do ask for a signature-upon-delivery, you should inspect the package when it is delivered and before you sign for it. If you discover that your shipment was obviously damaged in transit (which has happened with fewer than 1% of our shipments), you should take pictures of the damaged package and refuse to sign for it. Then I can refund your full purchase price.
Returns
I want you to be happy with your art. If it turns out that you’re not as in love with your new art as you thought you’d be, you can return it. Returns must sent back to me undamaged and packed using all of their original shipping materials. Your painting must be given over to the return carrier no later than 7 days after you receive it. Once I receive your returned painting, I’ll check it for damage and missing packing materials and issue a full refund, if all is well. If packaging materials are missing or the painting is damaged, I reserve the right to issue a partial refund (though I’ve never had to do that!). I do not pay for any shipping associated with returns, but please rest assured that returns are extremely rare, fewer than 1%.
Please note that deposits for commissioned paintings are non-refundable under most circumstances.
I live by the Golden Rule and will do my best to make you happy.
